I love this trend though as it has an added edge of neon and earthy textures that make everything seem super sweet, almost so sweet it’s sickly (think Katie Perry eating Parma Violets under a Palm tree surrounded by fresh lemon mint leaves and topped with hundreds and thousands.)
This is summer in a nutshell, the colours are bright and bold yet quite lucid in style so they are almost thirst quenching. There are hints of neon (A common theme for all styles this year,) but used in the right places alongside lilac, mint green and natural elements like warn beach planks and scented herbs from the garden.
If you are looking for a trend that is simple and easy, this is the one! The focus is mostly on the colours, so choose them well. Then, decide what summer foods you want to add (hint: if it comes with hundreds and thousands it’s a win for all!). Keep shapes simple and throw some beach sand on there too for good luck!
