Photography | IKEA Cookbook - Hembakat är Bäst (Homemade is Best)

Following on from my recent post on The Art Of Clean Up by Ursus Wehril, I noticed a pattern emerging in IKEA's cookbooks, “Hembakat är Bäst” (excuse the pun). The book includes photographs of the ingredients for each recipe, which are organised in such a way that the photographs look more like a piece art than ingredients:

I have found myself using a similar style of organisation within my own work too, even if it is not so evident in the finished item. Each of my necklaces are made up of 100 of my perspex pieces, cut to the same exact shape, I line these pieces up in size order before threading them together. I suppose it's just like lining your pencil crayons up in colour order before starting to draw? Maybe it is my OCD side showing though, but I think on some level everyone enjoys a bit of meticulous organisation. Don't they?
